Working on that new sound

So lately I have been finding myself with less time for music production as I would like. I still have a lot I want to accomplish as a new artist and I am working my butt off trying to get the next set of songs so I can incorporate them into my live performance. I am almost there with the quality of sound I am trying to produce so that I can stand out at a show and be considered unique but I still feel there is more learning to do before I am ready to put my foot on stage.

I know a lot of people have been communicating with me on soundcloud so I just want so a big thanks to all the fans out there that are listening to my music! <3

The live shows are soon to come. I have gotten my live set up almost ready and its getting to the point where I need to just start looking for venues but I am still undecided if I should do a show's or a tour. At this point I think playing some shows in LA is going to be the best solution but I will keep everyone updated when I hit the stage finally!

Back for Good

Hello again world, it is I, Otiin. I have been away from this blog in a while and I feel its time to overload it with txt and pictures. That is until the new website is launched! So for now I want say I am realizing as an artists that I need to become more involved with the music industry and other musicians. With out building a network of friends that are addicted to sound of house and dub, how can I continue? So I am going to start touring this year. The album, she is done. The only thing left to do is master the songs, get my live rig set and hit the road running. 2013 is going to be a hell of a fun adventure. Can not wait!

So since the last post I have been using the down time to work on a couple of things that needed to be built. I also have took the Steve Aoki "Be the DJ" Challenge that is being put on by Olmeca Tequila. I think its an amazing opportunity for us small time up and comers.

The remix itself will be done later this week and will also try and get out that other Youtube video I promised lol

Taking a deep breathe . . .

Well I intend to keep this post brief and to explain whats happening... sort of. I apologize for not getting my video up this week. I have had myself knee deep in personal matters I am trying to sort out. As soon as everything here is patched up, and moving forward again, then I will release the new Otiin Youtube video. It's just very unfortunate that some people do not take things as seriously as others. Because of this thinking it is leading to an ultimatum for some and hopefully they understand. I hate when these situations arise.... why can't everyone just understand. . .

Youtube Video Series

So last week I started my video series on http://www.youtube.com/user/otiinmusic?feature=mhee and a few days ago I released the Albums single Repatron. I am happy to say the album is almost finished, finally. Just putting the final touches on it and getting it out so I can finally move forward with the show planning. That phase I don't believe it should take to long since I already have a good idea on what I am going to do. That will stay under wraps though until show time :)

But I am almost done with my new personal website and my new company website for Ionvis. If you haven't heard about Ionvis, it is a new out look on ad agencies and how they should perform with their clients. Hopefully all goes well there too but well see in the next coming weeks.

Start

Hello everyone. This will mark the begininning of my personal blog that will keep you even more up to date with me and what is going on in my craziness of a life. Right now I am going to finish getting this YouTube channel setup, so it looks legit and then finally get a nap. Maybe some grub first but right now I am beat.

Going to chug my redbull and keep my blood shot eyes pressed against the screen for a little more but might be recording some good ol' fashion rock music tonight. Last night we got a good 4 hour session of recording on the second song to another side album I am in collaboration with. We got the drums and rhythm guitar down, and bits of the solo in as well. Hopefully we can finish it up and get it out!
